| The new season has started! This weekend the long expected 2011/12 season in European club handball finally threw off. In the VELUX EHF Champions League, four qualification tournaments - including the Wild Card Tournament - gave us the four last teams that will participate in the Group Phase. All tournaments saw very close games and even closer decisions.In the EHF Women's Champions League, two tournaments of qualification round 1 sent two teams through to qualification round 2, that will be played on 17/18 September 2011. Early birds have the possibility to secure the best tickets for the 2012 edition of the VELUX EHF FINAL4 on 26/27 May 2012 in Cologne, as the ticket sales will start on 7 September 2011. | |
