EHF Women's Champions League reaches fourth round

With the VELUX EHF Champions League taking a break for the next few weeks, the EHF Women's Champions League comes to the fore as we reach the fourth round of Group Matches.

Eight exciting matches are in store this weekend. The contenders for a place in the Main Round have already made themselves known, and with good performances from the leading teams we could already know some of the qualifiers by Sunday evening.

Top teams meet in fourth round

Europe's top men's handball stars will meet again from Wednesday 19 October 2011 as the VELUX EHF Champions League reaches the fourth round.

There are some mouth-watering match-ups with Füchse Berlin playing host to BM Atletico Madrid - this week's 'Match of the Week' on ehfTV.com, while in Bröndby it is Karabatic versus Hansen.

In all four groups the teams ranked first and second will meet in winner-take-all clashes, before a three-week break for international matches.

Among the top games are RK CO Zagreb vs. FC Barcelona Intersport in Group A, Füchse Berlin vs. Atletico Madrid in Group B, Cimos Koper vs. HSV Hamburg in Group C and AG Kobenhavn vs. MAHB Montpellier in Group D.

Europe's premier handball competitions reach third round 

The top European handball copmpetitions, the VELUX EHF Champions League and the EHF Women's Champions League, have reached Round 3 in their respective group stages. In both leagues one match of the round will be postponed and played at a later occasion.

In the VELUX EHF Champions League eleven matches will be played, but the Group D match between THW Kiel (GER) and AG Kobenhavn (DEN) is postponed to 18 December 2011.

Seven matches of the EHF Women's Champions League wil be carried out, but the match of Group C between Hypo Niederösterreich (AUT) and Györi Audi ETO KC (HUN) is postponed and will be carried out on 9 November 2011.
