A weekend full of top games!

After a long break over the summer and the Qualification Tournaments, last weekend the new season finally started with the group phase.

In the VELUX EHF Champions League, basically all the favourites managed to secure their victories and took their first two points. But their opponents performed strongly and proved what they are capable of. Therefore an exciting season with an improved quality level can be expected.

When the EHF Women’s Champions League commenced its new season last weekend with some very exciting matches, some title favourites like the Norwegian champions Larvik or the Hungarian champions Györ surprisingly lost their openers. Also here many more thrilling and highly interesting duels will follow.

In both leagues, despite the early competition stage, every victory is important!
