Fight for places in the Last 16 continues!

Underlining the high level of game-play, the teams in all groups share an equal competitive level at half-time in the Group Phase. From Round 6 on those teams keen on revenge will get their chance as the return legs are to be played.

You can follow four of last week's re-matches, which will be broadcast live online on ehfTV.com. This week also sees a premiere for Partizan Beograd, who until now had played in other halls, return to their home venue, Pionir Arena.

Jubilee time in Vienna (AUT), as at the "HeartBeat HandBall" anniversary gala a jury awarded five honory players with the "EHF Handball Award"...see below.

Playing legends honoured at EHF 20th Anniversary

As part of the ‘HeartBeat HandBall’ celebrations in Vienna, the EHF handed out awards in three different categories. Players Daniel Narcisse, Didier Dinart, Luc Abalo, Thierry Omeyer and Rikke Skov received the 'EHF Handball Award'. Read more >>

VELUX EHF Champions League restarts in anniversary week!

After a three week break the VELUX EHF Champions League restarts this week with the fifth round. The fixtures of this week will be repeated next week where the reverse games will take place in Round 6. Four matches will be broadcast live online on ehfTV.com.

This week is also celebration week: the European Handball Federation is 20 years young! With over 500 guests present at the 20 year anniversary celebrations in Vienna, the event entitled ‘HeartBeat HandBall’ is the highlight of the handball social calendar for 2011.

VELUX EHF FINAL4 in Cologne until 2014

The European Handball Federation has announced that the VELUX EHF FINAL4, the federation’s premier club handball event, and final round of the VELUX EHF Champions League, is to be played in the German city of Cologne until at least 2014. Read more >>

Final round in the women's Group Matches

The time has come for the last Group Matches round for the women: this weekend will give us the eight teams that qualify for the Main Round (finishing in the two top spots in each group) and those who continue in the Cup Winners' Cup spots (finishing third in the group). Exciting!

Three teams - Budućnost (MNE), Itxako (ESP) and Oltchim (ROU) have already secured their Main Round tickets, while four teams are already without a chance to proceed. For the remaining nine teams the decision will be made this weekend.

Four matches will be broadcast live on ehfTV.com.

       
 
 
  

Final decisions
